Who this is

Jsolovisuals is a photography and web studio based in Poway, California, operated by Jonathan Solorio. Questions about anything on this page can go to jonathan@jsolovisuals.com.

What I collect

Two kinds of information. First, whatever you send me yourself: your name, email, phone number and answers when you fill out an inquiry form or booking form. Second, general information about how the site is used, such as which pages get visited, which buttons get clicked, roughly where in the world a visit came from, and whether it was a phone or a computer.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses two analytics services. Google Analytics reports on traffic: how many people visit, where they came from, and which pages they read. Microsoft Clarity reports on behavior: heatmaps of where visitors click and scroll, and recordings of anonymous sessions so I can see where the site is confusing. Neither builds a profile of you as a person. This site also uses the Meta pixel, which tells Facebook and Instagram when a visit, an inquiry, or a booking payment came from one of my ads, so I can see which ads actually bring in sessions. Nothing you type into a form is sent to Meta.

Opting out

If you would rather not be counted, use the button below and this browser will stop sending analytics and ad measurement on every page of the site. Your preference is stored in your own browser, so clearing site data will reset it. Most browsers can also block cookies outright, and this site respects Do Not Track settings sent by your browser.

How I use what you send

Form answers are used to reply to you, plan your session, and keep records of bookings. I do not sell information and I do not share it with anyone outside the services needed to run the business, such as my email provider and my booking software.

Photographs

Session photographs may appear on this site, in the portfolio, or on social media unless we agree otherwise. If a photo of you or your family is on this site and you would like it removed, email me and I will take it down.

Your rights

If you live in California, you can ask what personal information I hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask me to delete it. Email jonathan@jsolovisuals.com and I will handle it within 30 days. I do not sell personal information.
